Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo State, has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, told The PUNCH on Tuesday that Okorocha had been arrested in Abuja.
Uwujaren, on the other hand, refused to comment on the explanation for Senator Uwujaren’s detention in the Imo West Senatorial District.
“It is true, he (Okorocha) was arrested today in Abuja,” the EFCC official said when asked for more information.
Okorocha’s latest arrest comes only weeks after he was detained by Imo State Police Command operatives for allegedly unsealing Spring Palm Estate, which is connected to his wife, Nkechi.
