Lynx Entertainment signee, Dennis Nana Dwamena, well known as KiDi has disclosed that the nomination he bagged in the Vodafone Ghana Music Award has sparked confusion at his record label.
The “Sugar Daddy” hitmaker, Kidi has disclosed in an interview that after his two songs were nominated for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, as the song of the year, there has been an internal argument within his camp.
The two most popular songs of the artist have been nominated for this year’s VGMA Song of the year. His songs; Enjoyment and Says Cheese were nominated in the Song of the Year category for this year’s music award. He also expressed his joy for setting a record for being the first artist to bag two nominations in one of the tightest categories, Song of the year.
According to Kidi, his two songs which have been nominated in the Song of the year category have caused confusion in his camp because his team has been arguing about which song; Enjoyment and Say Cheese deserves the ultimate award. He stated that the team has been deliberating on which of his song will win the category.
“It’s very difficult choosing between Enjoyment and Say Cheese as to which one deserves the award for VGMA Song of the year,” KiDi said on Kastle FM in Cape Coast”.
“I wouldn’t lie to you, even internally we can argue with ourselves the whole day as to which one should we go for,” he told the host of Kastle Drive show.
He ended “It’s difficult so we’ve decided to leave it in the hands of my fans to decide between my two songs that got the nominations which one deserves the award for song of the year.”
