Speaking in the interview, he said;
“Since the release Te Le Mo, I had stopped submitting my songs to VGMA. Why because it appears we are chasing ghosts.
Te Le Mo has done what no other song has done in Ghana. I was going to win the Developmental Song of the Year the year VGMA took the category off. The song was titled “Letter to the Govermment”.
Time is all I have. I will not waste my time submit my songs to VGMA for nomination. Even if they add Azonto to the categories, I will not submit.
Ask the Charterhouse people why dem dey mia Gasmilla all the time? What are doing to sustain the drill sound in Ghana? What are we doing to sustain the boys? I don’t see myself as someone who has blown.”
