Renowned Ghanaian reggae/dancehall act, Shatta Wale has said he owes every gratitude to God and his fans, Shatta Movement Family.
Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr in the Greater Accra region of Ghana, Shatta Wale has defied all odds to become a successful and one of the most decorated and celebrated musicians in Ghana and the world at large.
Formerly known as Bandana, he produced amazing songs since he rebranded himself to come under a new name ie, Shatta Wale. His best-known song “Dancehall King”, led him to win the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and that could be described as the game-changer for him and his music.
Amongst Ghana musicians who are popular, Shatta Wale stands out. He has gained global recognition because of his impressive creativity and awesome songs. He has one of the largest fanbases in the world which supports him regardless of what he does both on and off social media. Speaking at an interview a while back, he described his fans as his inspiration and motivation to do greater things in the industry.
Taking to his Twitter page, he shared another tweet showing gratitude to the fans saying, he owes them everything he has today. According to him, their tremendous support and loyalty to him from the beginning of his career is the reason he is still reigning.
