Chidinma Ekile, a well-known Nigerian singer, has left secular music and returned to her roots in gospel music.
While celebrating her 30th birthday, the singer made the announcement on her Instagram profile. “MY NAME IS MINISTER CHIDINMA EKILE,” says the minister. I AM A CRUSADER OF JESUS’ GOSPEL. “I AM A CRUSADER OF JESUS CHRIST’S GOSPEL”
Chidinma rose to prominence in 2010 as a 19-year-old after winning Project Fame West Africa.
She followed up with the release of her debut single, ‘Jankoliko,’ which featured veteran star Sound Sultan.
She is said to have auditioned for the competition as a member of the Church choir and sang a Christian song.
