According to The Christian Post, eight Nigerian Christians from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) who were kidnapped by gunmen a month ago have just been released.

“Today, I received the exciting news that all of our brethren who were held captive by kidnappers had been released and were being taken to the hospital for a check-up and tests.

All honor and glory to Jesus. On Twitter, RCCG General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye said, “We pray for lasting peace in all troubled regions of the world in Jesus’ name.”

The Christians were allegedly kidnapped as they traveled to an Easter outreach program called “Let’s Go Fishing.”

It’s unclear who kidnapped the pastors or if they’re connected to a terrorist group.
